Key phrase extraction is used 'to quickly identify the main concepts in text', returning the topics themselves - the doc's own example returns 'food' and 'wonderful staff'. Extractive summarization returns whole salient sentences from the source. Abstractive summarization writes new sentences. Named entity recognition returns typed entities such as organizations and places, not topics.
