In Triggered sync mode you use the Python SDK or the REST API to start the sync, so writing to the source table changes nothing until that call is made. Change Data Feed is a genuine prerequisite for Delta Sync indexes on standard endpoints, but a missing feed breaks the index from creation rather than after one write. Capacity limits reject writes rather than silently serving stale text, and column choice changes what is embedded, not whether new rows arrive.
