Answer: Enable actions on the connected sources so the assistant can act in them
A basic data store in Gemini Enterprise is built for search and retrieval only. Enabling actions is what lets the assistant move past reading and perform tasks directly in the connected source, such as creating a Google Calendar event or editing a Jira Cloud issue, and it can be switched on when the source is added or later.
