Google's prompt health checklist says to audit a prompt for contradictions between an instruction and an example. Few-shot examples teach the output pattern, so examples carrying retired categories teach the wrong taxonomy. A recap restates the instruction while the conflicting examples stay, eight more correct examples leave the wrong ones in place, and a lower temperature only makes the model follow those examples more consistently.
